PURPOSE OF THE PROJECT

The project “Musician's Hand and Problems” has been implemented with the aim of preventing the occupational diseases and accidents related to musicians in all categories, from students to faculty members and other instructors, from amateurs to professionals. With this project, the aim is to raise awareness about the management and proper treatment of potential issues, contribute to individual and institutional education, assist in the design and structuring of teamwork, look after musicians within the institution and ensure their treatment when professional support is needed.
 

SUBJECT OF THE PROJECT

In the “Musician's Hand and Problems” project, under the title 'Basic Approach to Musicians' Occupational Performance Problems,' general information and definitions are provided. The evaluations are explained by focusing on the causes of problems according to categories. How the prevention and treatment approaches for these problems are implemented, practical demonstrations of how specific issues are treated, and information on the exploration of mind-body integrity for mental awareness are provided.

The goal is to raise awareness about potential occupational diseases related to the target community, meet the information needs about potential issues in the short, medium, and long term, and guide them correctly.
 

WHAT ARE THE RESULTS OF THE PROJECT AND WHAT DID IT ACHIEVE?

The “Musician's Hand and Problems” project has been successfully completed with the participation of 300 individuals ranging from students to faculty members, other instructors, amateurs, and professionals from all categories. It has created comprehensive awareness about the prevention, management, and proper treatment of issues faced by musicians. In this context, it has contributed to individual and institutional education and provided support in planning and structuring teamwork.
 
The project has supported musicians in receiving professional support and has encouraged a solution-oriented approach to effectively manage and treat their occupational health problems when needed. It has aimed to increase the level of knowledge about occupational diseases in the industry by promoting knowledge sharing among musicians. In conclusion, it has enabled participants to understand issues related to occupational diseases and adopt a more conscious approach in this regard.
