THE GOAL OF THE PROJECT
The “Let My Hair Be Your Hair” project, carried out by the Association of Fighters Against Cancer, was initiated to prevent the negative reflection of the changes in the physical appearance of those who have lost their hair due to chemotherapy treatment on their psychology and treatment. Chemotherapy-induced hair loss leads to a physical change that affects patients' lives more than previously thought. In the project we are carrying out with the Association of Fighters Against Cancer, which is a bridge between those who donate their hair and those who need wigs, our goal is to be able to gift new hopes along with wigs made of natural hair.
THE SUBJECT OF THE PROJECT
The "Let My Hair Be Your Hair" project is carried out by the Association of Fighters Against Cancer. Within the scope of this project, since 2016, we have been supporting the project by gifting "wigs made of real hair" to patients who have lost their hair due to chemotherapy.
The organization's support for the project, which brings together our patients in need of wigs and our employees who donate their hair under the roof of social responsibility, has continued since the day of its inception.

- The motivation of our employees, who volunteer in the project with an awareness of social responsibility and donate their hair, increases day by day for the continuity of the project.
WHAT RESULT DID THE PROJECT GIVE? / ACHIEVE?
Until the "Let My Hair Be Your Hair" project, there was no other organization in Turkey that provided free wigs to cancer survivors from donated hair. Since wigs made from real hair are quite costly, people in need of wigs turn to synthetic wigs, which are more economical, but pose a risk of infection and allergies. Synthetic wigs threaten the health of cancer patients with a high risk of infection. With the "Let My Hair Be Your Hair" project, wigs made of real hair, which are both easy to clean and do not carry the risk of infection, were presented as gifts. Since the beginning of the project, nearly
4,000
people fighting against cancer have received wigs with the support of
14,684 hair donors.
