Prof. Nahit Çakar, M.D. General Intensive Care Head of Department Professor Çakar was Clinical Associate at the Reanimation Unit of Milano University, Italy, Intensive Care Unit of Free University of Brussels, Erasme Hospital, Belgium and Pediatric Surgery Intensive Care Unit of Sophia Kinder Ziekenhuis Hospital, the Netherlands. Conducted experimental studies on the use of assistive techniques (prone, recruitment) in addition to the artificial respiration in Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome. Member of Turkish Society of Anesthesiology and Reanimation, Turkish Society of Intensive Care and European Society of Intensive Care Medicine. Editor of Journal of Anesthesiology and Reanimation and Turkish Journal of Intensive Care Medicine, and also works as a critic in many scientific publications.
