  • She completed her  Internal Medicine and Cardiology Residencies at the Istanbul University Institute of Cardiology between 1981-1991.
  • She worked as the chief assistant at the Siyami Ersek Cardiovascular Surgery Center between 1991-1994.
  • She worked at Şişli Florence Nightingale Hospital as a cardiologist and as the Chief of the Echocardiography Laboratory between 1994-2017.
  • Prof. Aytekin, M.D., works as a respected educator where he supervises physician assistants undergoing their doctoral theses; he has also contributed extensively towards training many young cardiologists.
  • Member of Board in School of Medicine, Kadir Has University, R.T., Member of Faculty Committee, Member of Health Committee, Member of Committee for 2 nd Term Education and Member of Main Education Commission.
