Prof. Dr.Tabak worked as a Research Assistant at Harvard University Massachusetts General Hospital with TUBITAK Scholarship between 1993-1994.
Has 16 articles published in international scientific journals and 51 articles for domestic journals.
Awarded 2nd Prize among International Publications selected by the Thoracic Society.
He served as the Secretary of the Istanbul Branch of the Thoracic Society and the Chair of the Clinical Problems Working Group.
Served as the Head of the Bronchoscopy Unit and the Director of the Interstitial Pulmonary Diseases Polyclinic at the Thoracic Department of Istanbul University Medical School.
