Breast Surgery

Professor Can Atalay is the founding member of the Breast Surgery Association and chaired the association between 2014 and 2018. Still serves as General Secretary.
Founding member of SENATÜRK Senology Academy and Head of Basic Science, Translational Research & Biobanking Department since 2013.
Served as Publication Secretary from 2006 to 2014, Vice Editor from 2014 to 2016 and Editor from 2017 to 2019 of Turkish Journal of Surgery.
Worked as a member of Board of Turkish Surgical Association from 2012 to 2016 and as Treasurer of the Board from 2016 to2018.
Founding member of Ankara Breast Diseases Association. Member of the Board from 2007 to 2014 and Chair of the association between 2011 and 2013.
Served as General Secretary of Turkish Federation of Breast Diseases Societies from 2011 to 2013.
Studied Oncoplastic Surgery at the Breast Clinic of the European Academy of Senology in Düsseldorf, Germany.
