He was born in Eskişehir in 1976. He completed his primary and secondary education in Izmir. He graduated from Izmir Atatürk High School in 1993 and from the Faculty of Medicine at Eskişehir Osmangazi University in 2000. After completing his specialty training at Istanbul Koşuyolu Heart Training and Research Hospital, he completed his mandatory service at Sinop State Hospital. During this period, he conducted special research on endovascular treatment of thoracic and abdominal aortic aneurysms in Maastricht, Netherlands. Shortly after completing his mandatory service and starting work at the Cardiovascular Surgery Clinic at Istanbul Samatya Training and Research Hospital, he began working as Assistant Head of the Cardiovascular Surgery Clinic at Baku Medical Plaza Hospital in Azerbaijan in 2012. In 2015, he performed cardiovascular surgeries as head of the same clinic. By forming an international team that performs TAVI and transapical mitral valve replacement procedures at the same center, it has become a center that successfully performs these procedures. After conducting research on minimally invasive cardiac surgery with Dr. Oleksandr Babliak at Dobrobut Hospital in Kiev, Ukraine, in 2019, he has performed the majority of cardiac surgeries using minimally invasive techniques in Azerbaijan and Türkiye since 2020. At that time, he worked at one of the few centers performing minimally invasive left ventricular repair surgery after a heart attack. After working at the Baku Medical Plaza Hospital in Azerbaijan until 2023, he joined the American Hospital's Cardiovascular Surgery Team in Türkiye in 2024. In June 2025, he began working at the Bodrum American Hospital to perform high-level heart and vascular surgeries.
