• Each patient treated by our hospital has the right to access healthcare services that meet their needs, including activities that promote healthy living and preventive healthcare services, pursuant to principles of justice and fairness and to take advantage of diagnostic and therapeutic facilities to the maximum extent.
  • Our patients have the right to receive quality healthcare services, irrespective of race, religion, language, gender, political view, philosophical view and economic and social status.
  • Each patient received by our hospital has the right to be informed about how to benefit from our healthcare services; this covers the right to understand the scope and availability of each service. Based on this right, each patient is provided with the required information by each corresponding department. Each physician or physicians is/are responsible for informing the patients about their medical conditions. Moreover, informative signboards, brochures and signs exist at appropriate locations throughout the hospital.
  • A patient treated at our hospital has the right to prefer another healthcare facility, if requested. In this case, the patient is informed by the relevant physician about viability of said transfer, whether a transfer to another hospital will cause or exacerbate a life threatening condition or not.
  • Our patients have the right to know identity details, duties and titles of all physicians and other healthcare practitioners, who will actively offer healthcare services to the patient, and to prefer another physician at any phase of the treatment.
  • Each patient treated at our hospital has the right to request all possible verbal or written information about his/her health condition. Patients have the right to receive complete and up-to-date information including all phases of diagnosis and treatment and the potential prognosis of the diseases personally or by their legal representatives and they also have the right to request a copy of all relevant personal medical documentation.
  • Our patients have the right to receive healthcare services in an environment where personal privacy is respected. All details of persons presented to our facility are kept confidential even after death. Such information is disclosed to the related authorities only if there is a written and clear approval of the patient or his/her heir, or a court order. Our patients have the right to inspect their files and request copies thereof at any phase of diagnosis and treatment. No information about patient’s private or family life can be obtained unless there is a medical necessity and permission from the patient has been granted.
  • Patients have the right to benefit from services, after consent is obtained for medical interventions and procedures.
  • Each patient has the right to reject any advised treatment. Each patient is informed by the physician in question about the potential consequences of rejecting recommended treatments and the patient will be personally responsible for the adverse outcomes.
  • Each patient and their family have the right to receive healthcare services in a safe environment throughout the hospital stay.
  • Our patients have the right to receive services always in a respectful, kind, compassionate and good humored environment. Any and all problems are solved according to our corporate principles and the existing laws at all phases.
  • All patients have the right to receive healthcare services in a hygienic environment, where all noise and any other annoying elements are prevented.
  • Patients have the right to accept visitor(s), subject to the principles and procedures determined by the healthcare facility.
  • Patients have the right to have a companion, subject to the provision(s) of relevant legislation, means of the healthcare facility in line with the discretion of the relevant physician.
  • Patients have the right to make applications and file a lawsuit subject to relevant legislation, if any right is violated. To this end, patients and families have the right to start a complaint process, have complaints reviewed and concluded and be informed about results in line with their complaints. Our patients have the right to notify the complaints related to patient rights primarily to the Patient Rights Department.
