About Training Career About Following his general surgery specialization training, Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Yüce Bircan worked in the Endocrine Surgery Department at VKV American Hospital under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Tarık Terzioğlu in 2005. After being appointed as a lecturer in the Department of General Surgery at Başkent University in 2010, he worked as a faculty member in the Department of General Surgery and Organ Transplantation until 2021. He established and managed the Thyroid-Endocrine Center within the Istanbul Oncology Hospital. He served as a coordinator in the breast cancer accreditation program and was awarded the title of Senior Mamma - Operateur by DKG. He served as an observer in the Endocrine Surgery department at Cleveland Clinic OH-USA and Santa Chiara Hospital, University of Pisa. He is a member of the International College of Surgeons, The Transplant Society, Turkish Surgical Association, Association of Endocrine Surgery, Turcic World Transplantation Society, Turkish Medical Association, and the Tülov and Sodev foundations.
