THE GOAL OF THE PROJECT

Due to the high number of primary and secondary school students in schools and the presence of common areas, students can contract many diseases and diseases can reach the level of contagion when individual and environmental hygiene is not sufficient. For a healthy society, hygiene habits are taught at an early age. The "Hygiene at School" project aims to ensure that students studying in crowded classes can ensure individual hygiene and apply environmental hygiene rules.


THE SUBJECT OF THE PROJECT

Within the scope of the "Hygiene at School" project, in the practical hygiene trainings prepared by the Infection Control Team of our hospital in cooperation with various schools since 2011, correct hand washing techniques, oral health and personal hygiene habits have been taught, as well as the importance of environmental hygiene and food hygiene has been shared with students, teachers and school staff.

The “Hygiene at School” project has been actively continuing since 2011.
 


THE COMMUNITY TARGETED IN THE PROJECT

By providing practical training to children and young students in the relevant district schools, a healthy social structure is aimed with the hygiene habits they should acquire at an early age.


COMMUNITY'S NEEDS MEET

The school students were given correct hygiene information and were taught practically how to ensure personal and environmental hygiene in their lives, and steps were taken to help them become healthy individuals by gaining regular hygiene habits.


WHAT RESULT DID THE PROJECT GIVE? / WHAT DID HE ACHIEVE?

With the "Hygiene at School" project, which started in 2011, the importance of environmental hygiene and food hygiene was shared with students, teachers and school staff, in addition to teaching correct hand washing techniques, oral health and personal hygiene habits in practical hygiene trainings prepared by the Infection Control Team. As a result of these trainings, the foundations of a healthy society were formed with the hand washing and hygiene habits acquired by students who use common areas intensively and are in constant contact with the environment.
