An invasion of a type of bug that hides in beds, biting humans to feed on their blood.
Bedbugs hide in beds and bite human skin to feed on blood. They're reddish brown and roughly the size of an apple seed. They infest homes, hotels and hospitals.
Bites are often itchy, inflamed and in a line.
Bites usually clear up with time. Using a skin cream with hydrocortisone may ease symptoms. As may an antihistamine medicine taken by mouth. An exterminator can treat a bedbug infestation.
