He was certified by the Board of Turkish Surgical Association in 2010.
He was awarded the title “Associate Professor” in 2021.
He was educated on pelvic floor diseases and proctology at St. Mark’s Hospital, London in 2022.
He is member of Turkish Society of Colon and Rectal Surgery, Turkish Surgical Society, Turkish Medical Association and Istanbul Medical Association.
Principal areas of clinical interest:
- Pelvic floor disorders (rectocele, rectal prolapse, obstructive defecation syndrome, fecal incontinence, pelvic pain),
- Proctology (hemorrhoidal disease, anal fissure, perianal fistula, pilonidal sinus),
- Digestive system surgery (stomach, small intestine, colon, rectum, gallbladder),
- Abdominal and inguinal hernia surgery,
- Laparoscopic surgery.
