OUR DOCTORS Prof. Hakan Bozkuş, M.D. Neurosurgery REQUEST AN APPOINTMENT Following the neurosurgery residency education, he started on doctorate studies on “biomechanics of spine” in Institute of Science of Istanbul Technical University in 2000. He was a research fellow in fields of biomechanics of spine and spinal surgery in Barrow Neurological Institute (Phoenix, U.S.A.) in 2002 and 2003. He worked in The Johns Hopkins Hospital (Baltimore, U.S.A.) in 2005, Royal National Orthopedic Hospital (London, the U.K.) and University of Padova (Padova, Italy) in 2008 and Barrow Neurological Institute (Phoenix, U.S.A.) in 2011 in order to boost the experiences in the field of spinal surgery. Member of Turkish Society of Neurosurgery, Turkish Spine Society, Spine Society Europe, European Society of Biomechanics, North American Spine Society (NASS) and American Association of Neurological Surgeons (AANS). He was awarded the title “Associate Professor” in 2005 and “Professor” in 2015.
